The client is seeking someone who has experience coordinating education programs within a nonprofit association, someone who has strong experience working with Learning Management Systems.
The Education Programs Coordinator oversees two critical aspects of our mission:
- Support Educational Activities: The coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating educational activities of the organization, including webinars, journal clubs, and online educational activities.
- Coordination of components of scientific meetings: Activities will include serving as a liaison to the hosting organization and working with committees to execute successful programming at major conferences.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as learning management system (LMS) main point of contact
- Support the Committee in the oversight of Programs
- Assist with module development and conversion into files
- Coordinate and develop webinars and program evaluations for other initiatives
- Create reports to monitor and track LMS usage and program attendance
- Support program management and coordinating committee review
- Serve as operational point of contact for speaker management
- Coordinate interactions between speaker and liaisons
- Maintain database for speakers and support liaisons with reports, data quality checks, and general support
- Collaborate with Meetings and Education Team on creating marketing content to promote meetings
- Support Executive Director and Operations Coordinator in planning the Board meetings and Annual Dinner
- Coordinate and manage the scientific presentation including establishing guidelines with leadership, configuring the submission site, and coordinating committee review
- Serve as operational point of contact for speaker and abstract management system
- Coordinate interactions between speaker and abstract management system and staff
- Compiles and ensures the timely and accurate management of data for conference
- Correspond with speakers on session details, run of show, logistics, and reimbursements for all meetings
- Coordinate abstract review, including hosting conference calls, compiling scoring data, and running reports
- Assist Communications and Marketing Manager to create content to promote programming
- Provide general support during and after calls, to include taking minutes and/or data entry
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in related field, relevant work experience can be submitted
- 2-3 years previous office support or administrative experience in a similar setting preferred

- Strong proofreading, editing, and excellent writing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new software applications; existing familiarity with educational database management systems is highly beneficial but not required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to travel at least 5-10% of the time
