Our very well known public health nonprofit client is seeking a Graphic Designer – Brand Manager (this role falls between an Associate level and a Senior level).

Job Summary
The Graphic Designer – Brand Manager will serve as the internal subject matter expert and point of contact for staff to build the brand of our client through the creation, launch, and promotion of their programs through visual digital and print media; manage digital assets for use in social media, website updates, marketing initiatives. The Brand Manager Graphic Designer will create graphics/videos; and manage ad delivery platforms to provide a streamlined and consistent marketing brand.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
- Designs and produces branding, brand management, graphic design, digital asset and advertising expertise to organization staff
- Manage graphic design project across the organization; provide in-house graphic design, including logos, photography, videos, infographics, digital ads, external PowerPoint presentations, etc., and coordinate with external freelancers when necessary
- Demonstrate design management leadership while supporting membership and member engagement by creating and producing marketing collateral such as membership brochures, direct mailers, custom-designed merchandise for the organization’s store and other products
- Manage production of large creative projects; translate work into member and public-facing products, giving face to and promoting the organization’s interest groups
- Provide leadership support to the organization’s foundation marketing activities, including graphics and special visuals in initiatives that overlap with the organization’s efforts
- Attend key events to capture photos and videos for future branding and design purposes
- Manage, develop, organize, and maintain the organization’s asset library, using a digital asset management software
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design, computer graphics or related field preferred; relevant work experience can be submitted
- At least 3-7 years of related experience in a graphic design or brand marketing environment, working collaboratively with marketing professionals and a diverse stakeholder group
- Strong portfolio to present
- Photography experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to design and develop successful brand and digital assets in response to communicated plans and needs
- Ability to manage graphic design and branding projects throughout lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills, partnered with a creative mind
- Expert knowledge of design tools: Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Suite
- Specific proven skills in graphic design, video, photography and other visual creative skills, and storytelling as applied in communications and brand marketing
- Excellent project management skills to include team/consensus building, effective communication to lead projects to completion, to negotiate around scope creep, resources and timelines, and to problem solve to initiate solutions
- Innovative mindset and ability to stay abreast of new digital and media trends and technologies
- Passion and commitment to the mission and goals of IDSA with ability to translate into successful brand marketing initiatives
