This is a hybrid position that will require 3-4 days in office and the rest of the week is remote.
Our client is willing to offer up to $140k depending upon experience.
The CPCO provides strategic leadership for Human Resources. This will include Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management, Organization Effectiveness, Employee Relations, Workplace Policies/Practices, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, and Employee Communications. This will be a key member of the senior management team and will lead a team of 3. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR leader with significant Generalist experience. They will have a strategic mind, and solid cultural change and coaching skills. This person will perform day-to-day HR Operations and will interact with all levels of staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
Lead People-Focused Strategy
- Design/implement/maintain people and culture strategy
- Develop/implement organizational practices that maximize employee performance
- Research/develop/communicate/update policies, procedures, guidelines
- Serve as thought partner to senior and leadership staff
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends & best practices, remain current on HR legislation
- Develop rewards strategy, competitive benefit and compensation programs
Maintain Full Cycle Recruitment Process
- Devise/implement proactive recruitment strategy
- Implement inclusive onboarding process, with continuing improvement
Direct Activities/Initiatives Focused on Performance Management/Staff Development/Learning
- Develop/direct performance management process, expectations, feedback, evaluations
- Guide managers through issues with team members
- Investigate/resolve grievances, complaints
- Identify & support opportunities for professional development and growth
- Mentor managers
- Identify/coordinate ongoing training for staff members, monitor success of training programs
Support the Building/Maintenance of Strong, Healthy Organizational Culture
- Solicit input, collect, analyze, share metrics regarding organizational culture, employee satisfaction
- Own initiatives focused on continued improvement of organizational culture/employee engagement
Manage Benefits & HRIS Systems
- Negotiate benefits contracts, oversee open enrollment
- Administer, troubleshoot, optimize benefits programs
Supervise General HR Operations
- Supervise HR team in execution of day-to-day operational HR functions
- Continuously review, update, enforce workplace policies/procedures
- Conduct regular HR audits
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 10+ yrs in HR field AND SHRM Certification
- Experience in high-growth, progressive organization
- Experience supervisor
- Proficient in Word, Excel, ATS, HRIS, payroll systems
